How to export your Geneanet family tree?
Click “Family Tree” and “Import/Export a GEDCOM File” in the top menu bar.
Click “Export” and “Export Family Tree” in the left sidebar, select the character encoding (ASCII or UTF-8), then click “Download”. Be sure to select UTF-8 if your data has accented characters or for languages other than English.
You also have the option of downloading the most recent GEDCOM file you uploaded to your tree.
Note: The Geneweb file format (.gw), Geneanet’s native format, is for Geneweb users (http://geneweb.org/) or if you want to import the file to another Geneanet account.
