Export a GEDCOM file from Ancestry.com and import it to Geneanet


1. Log in to your Ancestry account.

2. Click “TREES” in the top menu bar then select a family tree.

3. Click the name of the family tree in the top left of the screen then click “Tree Settings”.

4. Click “EXPORT TREE” in the right side bar.

5. Wait for the GEDCOM file to be generated then click “DOWNLOAD YOUR GEDCOM FILE”.

6. Log in to your Geneanet account.

7. Click “Family Tree” in the top menu bar then click “Import/Export a GEDCOM File”.

8. Click the “Browse” button then select the GEDCOM file you have exported from Ancestry.com
