Posted by Jean-Yves on Nov 4, 2020

Participate in the indexing of Canadian World War I personal records, from November 5, 2020 until November 15, 2020.

Over 600,000 men and women enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) during the First World War (1914-1918) as soldiers, nurses and chaplains.

To participate, go to the menu “Projects” and “Collaborative indexing”, select the collection “Canadian World War I personal records” and the time you can spend on it, then click the button “Start indexing”.

always enjoy doing indexing

I have a problem with making sure that I have the correct state when there are towns/cities with the same name in multiple states. I can’t see any where on the card to accurately determine the correct state. Thanks, Lorraine

Answer from Geneanet: If you are not sure, you’d better skip the document.
