More Storage Space for Your Pictures on Geneanet

Posted by Jean-Yves on Jul 20, 2020

You can upload family pictures through your Geneanet family tree or you can click “Family Tree > Your Archive & Pictures” in the main Geneanet menu.

Click the counter icon at the top right of the page to see how many pictures you have already uploaded and how much storage space you have left.

Your Geneanet storage space has been increased:

– Free members can now upload up to 1GB of pictures instead of 250MB

– Premium members can now upload up to 10GB of pictures instead of 2GB.

Now, only your private family pictures are taken into account in your Geneanet storage space. You can upload as many public pictures as you want.

If you quit Geneanet Premium and if you have uploaded more than 1GB of pictures, they will not be removed.

Gee thanks, I will certainly be taking advantage of this.

Geneanet is the best operating ancestral site I have used. I plan on going premium as soon as I get finished with some other project I am working on. Thank you Geneanet for helping me find my ancestral far deep than I realized possible.
