Last April, more than 1,500 of you participated in the indexation of the Collection Mayet and you have indexed almost 120,000 individuals on Geneanet. Today, we propose to participate in a new “Indexation Week” with the Baltimore Passenger Lists to make it available for all genealogists.
National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) have a collection of passenger lists of ships arriving at the port of Baltimore, Maryland, USA, from 1820 to 1897. These 780,000 records contain the name, the first name, the gender, the age, the nationality and the last permanent residence of the individuals, as well as the name of vessel, the date and port of entry, and the destination.
This week, we invite genealogists who would wish taking some time indexing this collection to join the project. All together, we can index the 200,000 remaining records!
To participate, go to the menu “Projects” then “Collaborative indexing”. Select the collection “Passenger list (ship)” and the time you can spend on it.

Hi I wish to advise on a spelling mistake . My Wife’s name is spelt as Romany ( Not Romani) and her Surname is spelt as Pereira ( Not Perera)
My Daughter Candice Anne Flanderka is now married to Dr Prevon C.J Pereira. They have two children. The eldest a girl ” Mia Jade Pereira” and a Boy ” Mason James Pereira”. After Marriage Candice now goes as Candice Anne Flanderka Pereira.
Could you please make the following changes or please advise me as to the procedure for correcting and adding to the records.
Yours faithfully
Radcliffe C Flanderka

Tried looking at the French electoral lists but the images are too small. If blown up, loses clarity

Started the indexing of the Baltimore Passenger List. Put in all the available
information and hit submit, but it didn’t advance to the next card. Simply showed the same card again. Not sure what to do next. Thanks.

I am probably going to help out with project but I wish that they would do the Death records from Baltimore City Maryland from 1881 going forward. The census for 1890 was destroyed by a fire and these records are vital for many that had emigrated to the US from Europe as they are the only records left for many.
