Medical Ancestor

Looking for information on my great grandfather Alfred O'Hea. He may have done his medical training in Paris. I know that he spent 18 months as an assistant to Dr. Chauffard, Professor of Pathology at the Faculty of Medicine , Hospital Cochin, Paris, probably late 1860's.

Grateful for any assistance you could give in tracing medical ancestors in Paris.
