I am wondering why I cannot find any potential ancestors who were born in France, but died in England, when so many Huguenots migrated in the 1600s and 1700s? I also have trouble finding ancestors in England who were born in France, but I know it happened.

Pourquoi je ne peux pas trouver les gens qui ont emigres, nees en France, mais meurts en Angleterre? Et l'autre, pas de gens nees en France ont ete trouve en Angleterre .... un mystere! Migrations make it harder to trace someone's location at different stages of his/her life. In many cases, the birthplace is too vague to pinpoint (only country). And in the case of protestants, there are fewer records available.

The only way you could simply "find" your ancestors on Geneanet is if someone already researched them and posted them in a tree. Otherwise, you will need to search them yourself. Look at Geneawiki for tips and resources.
