Relatives

When I try to do a search for a living relative to add new data to that persons information such as a new Birth the Program tells me that person does not exist in my Tree. However, if I enter that persons Parents and then ask for the descendants and follow the tree down I then get to the person I am looking for. Is there a glitch in the program or am I doing something wrong?

This is how I search for a Person:
Geneanet (Tab)
Search:
Last name: Delplanche
First name: Hazel
Click search Box
I get 4 results; none of them are for my tree. To bring up this person I do a search for delplanche / lawrence (the father) and open that person from the underlying (ldelplanche) in the Family Tree mode. I can then click on Hazel and follow the descendant's down to the point where I want to enter the update. I seem to have this same problem with anyone that is alive and has several generations of descendant's.

If you are talking about Hazel Marie Delplanche, it's because this person is private in your family tree. Private persons do not appear in the search results list.
