Hi, I just discovered that I must be paying a monthly or annual fee of $12.50 for a Geneanet membership of some sort, but I did not know it and do not want it. How do I cancel and is the fee charged August 7th refundable?

When you subscribed to Geneanet Premium on May 9, 2020, it was clearly said that renewal is automatic and that you can cancel the automatic renewal at any time, as you can see at https://en.geneanet.org/premium/payment/
You also received an email saying that renewal is automatic.

To cancel a a three-month subscription, go to this page:

https://en.geneanet.org/privilege/history

In the purple stripe at the top, just click "End automatic renewal" and you're done.
