Are there any plans to add a chromosome browser feature?

A chromosome browser feature is not actually planned.

I submitted my autosomal-DNA data and Geneanet has reported one match. The match is 0.23% (or 17 cM), or weak. This match has a 59.6% chance of being for 6C, 6C1R, 5C, 6C2R, 4C1R, 5C1R, 7C, Half 3C2R, 4C2R, 5C2R, 7C1R, 3C3R, 4C3R, 5C3R, 8C, or more distant relative.

My question is on which chromosome(s) and at what position(s) did this match occur. These locations are important in identifying the common ancestral parents of my match and me (i.e. the genealogical component of this exercise).

Chromosome browsers are easy to interpret graphical displays, however, I am only asking for the coordinates to the chromosome and the matching start-&-stop positions. I would use these values in the "DNA Painter" program to compare this match with my other matches with common ancestral pairs.

It would also be good to be able to download matches detail to be uploaded into something like DNA Painter.

The following information will be added soon:
- Total shared DNA (cM)
- Total number of segments shared
- Size (cM) of the longest segment

A chromosome browser feature is not actually planned.

A chromosome browser would make your DNA service much more useful. Without it, and without common surnames or places, it is very difficult to determine how DNA matches are related. Is this something you will be offering at some point in the future?

We have added the list of common names and places: https://en.geneanet.org/genealogyblog/post/2020/05/some-new-options-for-your-geneanet-dna-matches

Some new features will be added...

When we receive new notification matches it will be great to had a new feature in the list of dna matches like a dot or highlight before the new matches in the list. Because with time the list is getting longer and longer and it is difficult to see where the new matches are placed in the list.
It will help keep tracks. Thank you.

You can organize the list by date, which helps. But I agree that tagging new matches or adding a column for match date would be a nice addition.

I am trying to upload my daughters raw file and it’s not upload. It’s an error or something. Does anyone have this issue?

From which provider do they come from?

We actually accept DNA tests from: MyHeritage, 23andMe, AncestryDNA, LivingDNA, and Family Finder DNA tests from FamilyTreeDNA. We do not support Y-DNA (Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup) and mtDNA (mitochondrial DNA) tests at this time.

I can see that you could import a DNA raw file. Please note that you imported it twice: https://en.geneanet.org/dna/manage/

This is the first time I have done this with your company. I uploaded the Raw DNA data to Geneanet, now what happens? Do I wait until you notify me of any matches?

Where would I find on how to use your site?

Merci! I hope that means "thank you"

You did not complete the upload process. I did it for you. You will be notified when new matches are available or you can go to https://en.geneanet.org/dna/person/ to check it.

Can I add my wife's raw DNA to my account or will it effect my matches.
