date entry

Post by ekaufmann »

in my tree are some probands which have as date to edit
1.the normal way of entering and
2.underneath a line which says: or free text - delete.(I never had it in my original tree (Stammbaum) before uploading to Geneanet!)
They appear at random and only by writing the date into the line above and deleting the text entry they will be visible in the tree. As there are over 60 000 entries and I don't know which one has the "text entry".
I wonder if there is a way of eliminating the text entry and having the date entered in the proper entry field in a single operation.
I would be very happy if someone can help out.

Could you please give an example so I can have a look at what is said in the GEDCOM file you have imported?
