Good evening, I'm finding the Geneanet software difficult to use. Here is what happened: I merged a pair of duplicates together. When I looked at my tree following that it had unconnected the parents and the rest of the tree from this person. How do add back the relationship between this person and his parents?

Go to the person, click the pen icon, click "Add parent", then enter the name of the parent. The software will tell you that a person still exist with this name and you just have to select it.

Thank you for writing, Add parent is not accessible for this person. Probably because it says he has both parents.

In the past I've deleted the person, I don't want to delete his father's first wife as there are more children as part of this family.

Henrici Cuenat born 30 November 1766 - Porrentruy, , , Jura, Suisse, was married twice. First to Marie Catherine Angélique Froidevaux and then to Marie Catherine Desboeufs. Each marriage is listed twice and I think that created the problem of the wives showing up twice in the tree.
