"Group Family Trees" vs. "Personal Family Trees"

Many of us who administer DNA surname projects or ver large patrilineal surname studies (aka "one-name studies") have a huge database of ancestors with the same name (various spellings) who are not necessarily related among themselves. In my case, the GEDCOM would be about 45,000 names.

-- Does GeneaNet also support "group family trees" in addition to "personal family trees"?

Of course you can create a "group family tree" but it will be considered as a "personal family tree" in the database.

On Geneanet you can create a family tree with an unlimited number of individuals for free.

To upload a GEDCOM file please go to https://my.geneanet.org/arbre/

If you want/need some other persons to collaborate to your family tree, you can give them admin access rights at https://en.geneanet.org/contacts/
