I have linked spouses together. This may have been wrong. Now when I click the husband's name, 2 wives (same person) show up. When I click the wife's name, 2 husbands (same person) show up. What do I do to have only one entry for each husband and wife? I do not want to lose their links to other family tree members. When I tried to delete an individual, it stays with ?? as first and last name. HELP

You must unlink these persons then link them again.

To unlink them, please go to one of them, click "Edit" and "Edit relationship" in the menu, then click "Unlink..." at the bottom of the edit form.

Thank you for helping me.

There is one further question. The wife in the relationship is recorded as "unknown" sex. When I try to click "female", message reads "cannot change sex of a married person"

I do not want to delete her (Arnolda Rijnholt) , as there is a family branch descending from her.

Thank you

You must also unlink a married person to change his/her gender. You will not loose anything. Just unlink the person, edit the gender then link the person again to the family tree.
