How do you attach an account such as FamilySearch, Ancestry, Facebook and/or others?

Hi everyone,

Under My Profile, Attached Accounts

It says: " List of services (Facebook, FamilySearch, etc.) linked to your Geneanet account.

Your Geneanet account is not linked to a service (Facebook, FamilySearch, etc.)." :?

Well okay. How and where do one go about linking any account to their Geneanet account? Anyone :?:

I couldn't find anything so far on the matter.

Thanks

Jean Madore

If you are a LDS member, you can attach your Geneanet account to your FamilySearch account at https://partners.familysearch.org/solutionsgallery/s/list?category=lds_access
You will have a free Geneanet Premium access.
But your FamilySearch family tree will not be synchronized on Geneanet. You must export a GEDCOM file then import it to Geneanet.

Yes, I too moved my Ancestry account to here through a GEDCOM. If you are coming from there, you may have many errors to fix with duplicates and tons of duplicate census to remove.
Thank you to the other response as well for the Family Search information and link. :)

They will let you do all, but later they will ask you to pay for access to your own information, all these sites works like that, so keep away :)
