I am not finding anywhere to where I can update my recurring subscription credit card payment. My card expires in about a week’s time and I no not want my tree lost because my card is expiring. I have been extremely dissatisfied with the difficulty in getting any kind of help from Geneanet,no ability to contact a human being, The answer to everything seems to be “available the premium members only”. My experience with Geneanet has definitely not inspired me to want to become a Premium member

You have a free Geneanet account and you can continue to use it as long as you want. Your family tree will not be removed.

I am trying to get a premium membership, but when I go to pay the only payment option is to pay through hipay which has a reputation for being insecure, spammy and for saving your credit card information into its system. Is there an alternate way to pay?

Hipay is not insecure and we never had any complaint from our members who paid through it.

Well, I have spent most of my day trying and trying and trying to get a Premium membership. I gave all of my credit card information and set up an account. I have followed all of your instructions! You have held out $1.00 twice on my credit card as some type of verification. Are you trying to get me to pay for 2 memberships and get NO ability to access my account? I can't believe how difficult this is! What can you do? I want 1 premium membership...you have all of my information. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE

Wow...it is impossible to even PAY and GET a membership! What is going on? All that happens is you take out a $1.00 hold from my credit card but NEVER process payment. This is unbelievable, here I am wanting to be a customer and you don't even bother to process payments! VERY POOR SERVICE

Today is Saturday, I'm afraid you will have to wait until Tuesday to have this sorted out (Monday is a bank holiday)

I have an order confirmation number. I have paid $50.00. I cannot access my account...it still asks me to become a member. I have written several emails without getting help on this. You gave me a confirmation for my credit card payment, but you are not giving me an active account!

I tried to pay with a card, it did not go through, but the card is good. I then tried Paypal, and it sends me to sign in to Paypal, then I am stuck as it does not send me back to here to pay, so it is an endless loop.

@Jean-Yves BAXTER - It still will not go through. I tried Paypal, and it makes me sign in there, which works, then I cannot get a screen to let me pay, so I come back here, it starts all over, or Paypal makes me sign in over and over, even though I already signed in. Tried credit card too, but don't want to try that again as am afraid it will freeze my card if I try another time.

Perhaps if Geneanet could send me an invoice through Paypal?

@jyb - I tried both Chrome and Internet Explorer, neither worked. They said my bank declined it, but the card is good, I just checked. EDIT - Yes, my browsers accept cookies from here.
