I'm trying to become a premium member. I attempted to pay by credit card (Amex) but after completing and submitting the payment form it came back blank. I don't know if my payment has been sent or not and Geneanet only allows direct contact from Premium members. Catch 22. Can anyone resolve this for me?

I, too, have been trying to subscribe to Premium membership. I keep getting an error reading. I have tried multiple times, on multiple days, on two different cards (visa and mastercard), over multiple internet platforms. I have tried both the direct credit card payment and the paypal. All have failed.

On my visa, the charges were showing, then refunded, multiple times. I did not request such a refund. Several hours after those charges and subsequent refunds showed up, I got a call from the card issuer, asking me to confirm charges. I did. Nothing happened, as it appears that the charges were refunded immediately upon being charged.

On my mastercard online statement, it's not even showing up. I did, however, get a call from my mastercard issuer, showing that I had several attempts to charge on my card that showed up as errors. They were calling because the errors happened multiple times (matching my multiple attempts, perhaps?).

Both cards have worked in the past on every other online purchase I have made in the last 30 days. This doesn't appear to be a problem with my forms of payment, but rather a problem with the online payment system for Geneanet.

I would like to subscribe to premium, but this is getting extremely frustrating! And with no customer service contact, it makes it impossible to get assistance in getting the payment through. I would appreciate any assistance--especially from Geneanet staff.

I too am trying to become a Premium member but no matter which credit card I use, I get "an error occurred." There is no 800 telephone number, no email address, and people have expressed dissatisfaction accessing the Premium feature. Just wondering if it is worth pursuing.

You may ask your bank why your can't use your credit cards on Geneanet. Please note that you can pay via PayPal.

REFUND

I am still waiting for my subscription refund of 50 dollars from May 13th! If I do not receive it by the end of the week I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have emailed you a dozen times regarding this and have received no reply at all

I am looking at my paypal account right now. THere is no refund there on the 13th or at all. There is only a charge for 50 dollars and no refund. Please send me an reply to any of my dozen emails with a receipt of refund asap

No refund was ever deposited to my account! I have been waiting for weeks since the cancellation of my subscription and still nothing!
If the refund is not processed into my account by tomorrow I will be contacting the BBB and registering a formal complaint. You have my email, I expect to receive a refund and receipt of that refund in account and email by tomorrow.
This is TERRIBLE Customer Service!
