Fenton Daughan

I am trying to find out what happened to fenton Daughan (Daughen, Dahen) who married Julia Delany in 1858 in Ogdensburg, NY and according to the 1870 was living in Clifton NY. by the 1880 census Julia is living in Rossie NY and is listed as a widow. Is anyone else looking into the Daughan line and have any information on Fenton? He was a common laborer and probably worked in the Clifton Iron Works, but that is a guess at this point. Any suggestions?
