Hello,

You would get more help with a few details: a century, a continent (or even a country :D )...

Best,

Is that the marriage date or the birth date?

Look at https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/205581 (registration is free).
- The decennial tables (tienjarige tafels) will help you find the correct date.
- The registers will give you access to the certificates (Geboorten = birth, Huwelijken = marriage, Overlijdens = death)

Depending on the year, records will be in French or Dutch.

FYI, the tables are in chronological order by first letter. So you'll need to go through the entire C list.

Since you appear to be starting in genealogy, I strongly suggest using only the maiden name for women, and writing the last name (family name) in all caps. That will help differentiate Jacques PIERRE from Pierre JACQUES since the family name is often listed first in records. Make sure to indicate the location of all events.

Double check your locations since Louvain (Leuven) and Louvain-la-Neuve are 2 different cities. The latter was only created in the late 1960s when the Catholic University of Louvain split into separate Flemish and French-speaking institutions.
