How to download your DNA data from AncestryDNA?

Follow the instructions below to download your DNA data from AncestryDNA:

1. Click “Settings” on the home page

The home page contains three sections entitled “DNA Story”, “DNA Matches” and “ThruLines”. Click “Settings” at the top right of the screen.

This will open a new page where you can edit your profile, delete your family tree, etc.

2. Go to the section “Actions” at the bottom of the page

Click “Download” to download your raw DNA data.

3. Enter your password

Enter your password and an email will be sent to the email address you have entered in your Ancestry profile.

4. Click “Confirm Data Download” in the email

You are redirected to Ancestry. Click “Download DNA Raw Data”.

Your DNA data are saved to your computer and you can now upload them to Geneanet!
