I am looking for the parents and grandparents of Joseph Gerber, born 5 Jun 1786 probably in or near Durstel, Bas Rhin, Alsace, France. He died 5 Aug 1856 in Ferdinand, Dubois County, Indiana, United States. On Nov. 28, 1806 he married Anne Elisabeth Grumbach born in 1784 in  Durstel. She was the daughter of Pierre Grumbach and Anne Marie Sins.

Joseph Gerber and Anne Elisabeth Grumbach had 5 children
