Hello

It's going to be very hard to find anything if you don't have more info. Most of the time we can find information in the online archives in each of the 99 geographical jurisdictions called "departements", so we need to know where he was in france.

In military archives usually it's easier to find something if the person had a medal / has be honored. But in the 18th century it is very rare.
