Some time back I had a gen alert that had details that at the time did not seem to match my requirements,

Now that my current search information has changed,

I can not recover that alert which has now expired? although I did take some notes of the listing,

I have tried to contact the source "colgnecmwvrfran " to no avail.

I am a Premium member.

On listing my subject with all the notes on this person I have I can only get a negative return every time in any option of search I have tried on the Geneanet site.

can you please help?

You can view the history of your alerts at http://en.geneanet.org/mes_recherches/geneanet

Sources which begin with "colgn" are collections provided by Geneanet and its partners so there's no contact available.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

My problem is I have 2 births that appear to be in the same family. one is of a child, and another is a child and it's parents .
I have good reason to that they are from the same family.

And since they are put up by COLGNCMWVRFRAN as you say they are not backwards contactable.

I have found the information is also not to be found on the net either so who has the data that was published?

My major problem is to find my ancestors  French Parents recent details suggest that he was born elsewhere than in Paris.
The search panels does not seem to allow me to define a birth, or more than one given name, that would reduce the range of searching required.

Since the listings were in English I assume that they have been transcribed some where else.
Where will I find this information??

sorry for the long delay in replying The ancestor I am trying to trace back to his parents is Charles Boileau born 1808 Paris France

His wedding was in London on 1 Oct 1836

From this point backwards into France is unknown,

except for a person matching his description who was a casualty of the fire in 1834,
that burnt down the Westminster Parliament buildings,

Just 2 years to the date approximately of his marriage,

this Charles Boileau spent a month in the Westminster Hospital.

In the hospital report he is described by the surgeon as a Native of Paris but long in England and an engine Turner by trade.

My Charles Boileau is described as an Rose Engine Turner, a form of complex metal engraving used in the watch and clock trades of that time etc.

I have found Charles Henri Boilleau born April 18, 1806 in Paris but I can't prove that it's the person you are looking for. See attached file.

The civil records of Paris have been destroyed by fire during the Paris Commune in 1871. Some new records called "Etat civil reconstitué" have been made later.

You can search the "Etat civil reconstitué" at http://archives.paris.fr/s/5/etat-civil-reconstitue/?
