Purchase of Archival Documents

1. Archival Documents on Pay-per-View

Most of the documents provided by GeneaNet are available for free but the archival documents provided by our partners are available on Pay-per-View:

- French announcements collected by La Bibliothèque Généalogique
- Indexes and Transcriptions provided by Genealogy Societies
- Bibliographies, Genealogy Works, Magazines, etc. provided by our partners.

2. Mode of Payment

You must purchase one of the following ‘Pack of Points’:

- Ash-tree Pack: 190 points = 19 €
- Beech Pack: 380 points = 38 €
- Oak Pack: 700 points = 65 €

The Pack of Points can be used on the GeneaNet website only, and will expire 1 year after date of purchase. The price of the document will be displayed before you purchase it.

3. History

Select the ‘Purchase of Documents’ item in the drop down menu at the top right of the screen to access the history of your purchased Archival Documents.

Your purchased Archival Documents are available for 2 months (click the ‘camera’ icon to view a document).

You can send a claim within 15 days of the date of order if the document is not what it was expected to be.

Can I republish a document?

You are authorized to use documents only for personal genealogy research. You can’t republish a document online but you can publish the information provided by the document (names, places, dates, etc.)
